    Our second annual Romero House Moves was a huge success! On a beautiful, sunny Sunday, more than 100 participants—families, friends, neighbours, volunteers, and former residents—came together to walk, run, and celebrate the community. With sadness, we share news of the passing of a longtime volunteer earlier this year, Edna Hajnal, and of the sudden death of our board member Joan Leishman this week. We are holding Joan’s family, friends, and all who knew her in our hearts. We hope to share more about her life and legacy in a future message.
