Register today for the Annual Howcroft Lecture, Monday, March 3. It will be an evening of insightful discussion and inspiration. This year, we are honored to welcome Dr. James Orbinski, a distinguished physician, humanitarian, and former president of the International Council of Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders).
Dr. Orbinski has dedicated his life to global health, human rights, and responding to humanitarian crises. His lecture will be: “Dignity in Crisis: The Complexity of the Refugee Experience“

The annual Howcroft Lecture was created to honour the late Lorne Howcroft, who was the first chair of the Romero House board. Lorne was an educator, and administrator, a person of deep faith and a champion for the Romero House Worker program. The series reflects on issues of faith and social justice in our city today.
