Romero House is seeking new board members to join our caring community.
Like a great potluck, we each bring our own gifts, and together, everyone is fed. Serving on the Board of Directors is one way to share your skills, experience, time, and energy in support of refugee claimants and the wider Romero House community.
Our board meets monthly (in person at Romero House and sometimes online), with additional committee work between meetings, about 6–10 hours per month. We aim for a board that reflects the diversity of our community, including people of different ages, genders, and backgrounds, and those with lived experience as refugees.
If you have experience in fundraising, human resources, planning, finance, refugee settlement, advocacy, community building, or governance, or simply a deep care for community, we’d love to hear from you.
