Join us for Romero House’s Evening of Peace this year on the 25th of December! at 6pm in the Church of St Martin in the Fields.
What is the Evening of Peace?
The Evening of Peace is an annual event with the Romero House community where we come together to eat, play, celebrate and enjoy each other’s company. It is a time to be in community and share special moments. Everyone is welcome!
When and where?
The Evening of Peace will begin at 6pm on the 25th of December. This is not a religious celebration though we do enjoy some Christmas decorations. All are welcome, no matter your faith!
The Evening of Peace will be taking place in the Church Hall in the basement of St Martin in the Fields at Keele and Glenlake. There are several steps down to the event hall from the entrance. If you have any accessibility requests, please let us know at marisol@romerohouse.org. To see this address on Google Maps, click Church of St. Martin-in-the-Fields, Toronto.
What will happen?
This is a potluck! We will gather together to eat, so please bring a dish that you want to share. It can be a dish from your country or just something you like to cook. There will be kids’ programming run by volunteers, a talent show and a dance party!
What should you bring?
Please bring a dish to share. We know that December 25th can be a difficult time if you are away from loved ones and home. We welcome you to bring the family and friends you have here and be ready to meet new friends and family on this beautiful evening that we will share together.
